At a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Prime Time Shuttle, Senator Hillary Clinton praised the South Asian community for its entrepreneurial spirit.
“I am so pleased to be here for this event,” Senator Clinton said. It is another example of the entrepreneurial spirit in the South Asian community, which is playing an important role in our economy today. Indian Americans, Pakistani Americans, Bangladeshi Americans, Sri Lankan Americans are founding and leading some of our country’s most successful businesses.”
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Senator Clinton inaugurated the new corporate headquarters of Southern California’s Prime Time Shuttle. Rattan Joea, CEO of Prime Time Shuttle, welcomed her visit.
“We are truly honored that Senator Clinton took the time to attend the opening of our new headquarters. We are proud that Prime Time Shuttle has become one of the leading airport transportation providers in the nation.”
Businessperson and community member Kevin Kaul praised Senator Clinton: "We are delighted that Senator Clinton has recognized the South Asian community in such a meaningful way." Agreeing, attorney Gautam Dutta noted, "Southern California's dynamic South Asian community has come of age."
